Roach Pet Privacy Policy

Roach Pet has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no servers for it. Your colony is stored on your phone. We never see your name, your contacts, your location or your payment details.

Your colony (your insects, coins, purchases, settings, diary and achievements) and the keeper and colony names you choose are saved inside the app on your phone.

To protect you from losing it, the game also keeps a backup copy in the Documents/RoachPet folder on your phone, refreshed when you open the game and every hour. This copy stays if you uninstall the app; you can delete it at any time with your phone's Files app. When you tap Back up colony, the backup goes only where you choose to save or paste it.

If your phone backs up apps to your Google account, Android may include the game's save in that backup. This is handled by Google under your phone's backup settings.

Coin packs are bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never receive your card or bank details. The game keeps the purchase's product name and Google's purchase reference on your phone so a purchase is never credited twice. Google's own privacy policy covers the payment.

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google provides your Play Games profile to the game, keeps a cloud copy of your colony in your Google account, and records achievements. You can play without signing in. Google's privacy policy covers Play Games.

When you open the trade screen, the game looks for other phones playing Roach Pet on the same Wi-Fi network and, if you trade, sends them your keeper name and the roach you offer, directly between the two phones. Nothing goes over the internet or to us.

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your phone (for example, when eggs are about to hatch). They are created on the phone itself; no notification service of ours is involved.

Roach Pet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

If the game starts handling information differently, we will update this page and the date above. Questions? Email support@cmenglabs.com.
